We fondly refer to these three as "the hobbits." Courtney Sedillo (right) and Stephanie Post (middle) have been Katie's best friends since 8th grade after we moved here from Beaverton Oregon in 2003. Over the years our family has grown to love this "threesome" and always get a kick out of having them over. This last semester Stephanie took the missionary lessons with Katie and Courtney there to support her. A few weeks ago Stephanie was baptised! Its hard to imagine that in a few months the hobbits will be splitting up as they go off to college. I know they are all so excited to go, but personally I'm dreading that moment of saying goodbye.

Blast from the Past
It won't be long until the Riley's are back on the water like days past! For many years we spent a week each summer boating and camping in Prineville, Oregon. Our family has wonderful memories that will never be forgotten. The end of May, after Reggie gets home, we are starting a new family tradition of boating at Apache Lake in Arizona. With a new generation of boaters (Tayson), we hope Apache Lake will have as many great memories as Prineville. Enjoy a blast from the past watching Trevor's Prineville 2003 video.
Katie is GRADUATING!!!!
Weezer Returns!
Name Change?
hmmm... ok Riley Ramblings? I think we are going to need a better name than that. Even Riley Remarks would be better. How about The Rowdy Riley Register? Or maybe just The Reel Riley? Perhaps the Raucous Riley Record? Or maybe we could just combine everything into the Ridiculously Rowdy and Raucous Registry of Riley Records and Remarks. Yes! That's it!
Trevor's through with finals!

Elder Riley's down to TWO weeks plus change!
His last email was quite telling as to how hard he is working to "finish strong." Here's an excerpt:
"Well today I am really tired and dont feel like writing alot.....haha.....sorry. I am doing great. I traveled to 4 cities yesterday with President Leal and tomorrow I will go to 4 more cities to give more trainings.....interview elders....and do other things....."
I'm so proud of how hard he working. There is no doubt in my mind his sacrifices will be accepted of the Lord. We painted his room today, much to Tracy's chagrin. (But he was a good sport and kept his complaining to a minimum.) Whenever we made a mistake we'd say, "Oh well, its just Reggie" We're taking bets he won't even notice it was painted! :)
Trevor, Colette and Tayson are coming down the last week of May and I can't wait to have all my family together--a mother's dream for sure. Reggie hasn't even met Tayson yet, but no doubt "Uncle Reg" will be the BEST uncle around! We're planning a 3 day trip to Apache Lake the day after Memorial Day. In fact, we bought a new tube today--probably the first we've purchased since we left Oregon 5 years ago. Oh how much I'm looking forward to being with my beautiful family.
